Last month, I was luckily enough to attend Luck Reunion which is a one day festival held on Willie Nelson's ranch outside Austin, Texas. Since today is Willie Nelson's 86th birthday, I thought it would be an appropriate time to do a recap.
Luck Reunion put together a loaded lineup that balanced up and coming acts with more established artists.
Below are some photos throughout the day. The quality of the photos aren't the best because I was getting too lost in the moment to remember to take any.
Katie Pruitt kicked off the day on the main stage as the artist on the rise. I've seen Katie and her band a couple times around Nashville. They're definitely worth checking out. Hopefully, there will be an album soon!
Billy Strings and his band played the chapel stage which is a small, (49 person capacity) intimate setting to watch a live performance. I've seen Billy Strings before when he opened for Greensky Bluegrass in Nashville and was excited to see them in this type of setting. They did not disappointed and blew the roof off the chapel. If you're not familiar, check out Meet Me at the Creek and buckle up!
Pictured: Odin from Odin Leather Goods, myself (I clearly got too much sun that day) and Brandon from Gunnar & Co. Odin and Brandon were set up in the Tannery where attendees could make custom leather tags. There was a line all day to get in. I've been connected with Odin and Brandon for a few years now so finally meeting them in person was awesome!
